I think it will be very nice if as founders we can organise a international conference for all the women founders of the world, The aim will be link up with each other and learn new strategies on how we can empower other women who are sitting in their homes but not knowing what to do with their situation that confronts them. I was also thinking that a conference would be a great idea - but one that obviously needs a lot of organization! First we would need a committee of women interested in working on this - and some idea of how many women would want to attend so we would know the size of the event we are talking about. Perhaps for the first conference, smaller would be better.
Anyone else interested in making this happen?
We would have to decide where it would be held, how long it would run, what topics we would concentrate on/include, assign facilitators for the various workshops, research accommodations, figure out what expenses we would incur - to know how much to charge, and try to find sponsors for the event!
It would be great if women from different countries and at different stages of "founding" were involved in the planning so that we could be sure to address the interests of the majority of attendees.
By the way - Did you attend the workshop a few weeks ago at the UN? Where are you from?

Conference is a great idea but to manage an inernational organisation sounds difficult. To bring all under one roof ,for the little help which we can render towards the upliftment of humanity and for those who are not so fortunate to sit and think about themselves as human being,is difficult if not impossible .
women empowerment is one area where indeed lots of effort is needed. The condition of the half of the population of the world is no better . Women everywhere in the world feel discrimination , reason may vary but the ultimate sufferer is women . In the name of upliftment many schemes are launched ,techniques are evolved , organizations work but still no major change is visible .
So it would be a great idea if through this forum we can atleast bring some awareness to the literate class , and if each one of them put their little help it can be a great leap for the cause .
